Was she an angel
A Goddess
Or the reminiscence
Of a beautiful, yellow rose
Arriving on the wings
Of a gentle breeze
she slowly danced, alone
Amid a dance floor
With eyes close
Hiding treasures, of sapphire
Lagoons
And memorable thoughts
Of many down falls.
~*~
Long golden hair
blinding all senselessly
As she sensuously
Whirled and twirled
Reaching out
To no one there
As all the men
Encircled, the dance floor
And just stared
At empty arms
Seductively inducing
mesmerizing, erotic images
Of favors to come
Promises of honey coated lips
A sweet tongue
And pleasures unknown
All this
By a Harlot
scented of wild flowers
And she
As bitter as wormwood.
