She is embraced By a Wonderful sunny Summer Day As she's overwhelm She inhales, into her mind The beautiful surroundings Before her. Ten years old A blue ribbon, on top Of long blonde, curly hair Lovely, just sitting there Bare feet soaking In a cold, gentle creek. Wild flowers cut Collected, in a basket mixed Perfume of blossom, in the air Butterflies, intoxicatingly Savoring every breath. A Cocker Spaniel By her side, she caress Her best and favorite pet The grass is green The sky so blue Gentle clouds, Just sailing through. As she day dreams Of fairy tales A prince is a prince A frog and Leprechauns. Sitting on a forest log. William Bonilla 8/21/03
