I sit alone Trying to rescue myself Deep within Reaching for my soul. Searching through my thoughts For anything worthy At this moment I wish to scribe about. My pen is dry The inkwell, I find deep Like an endless abyss I've yet, been able To wet, my empty plume. So I think As I look at myself On my left arm, I embrace A set of crutches. Against my face, Staring down At a snow white cast encasing my left foot. Without them, I am unable To walk No one signed, their name Upon it yet. Lonely I feel, as the purity Of my snow white cast Sign it, sign it Pleasec sign it fast. Sorry, I have no time Must move on, have to go Not having time Is truly a crime. By: William Bonilla 9/01/03
