It's muggy out side
As I take in
The fresh mountain air
While sitting on my porch
hundred percent humidity
A light rain, falling outside
At a distance
The crows
Are making themselves known
crowing constantly
Yet I hear
A few sparrows and finches
Near by.
~~*~~
Rumbling of rolling thunder
Playing like a symphony
Of bass in natures band
The rain pelting
Above the eaves
Rain drops, beating on the leaves
An encore of thunder
Fills in
whats missing, in the silence
Between
Each pelting drop.

Oh, how I love the rain
I'm, beginning to feel
The cold rain drops, on my legs
As a gentle breeze
Blows softly my way
Just sitting here, enjoying the rain
Wishing it stays
For a while,
Hopefully
Returning another day
As the rolling thunder
gently fades away
The green, is up
While across the street
A new road, is being dug.
William this was so refreshing...I also love the rain...unlike others who do not like it...I love to walk in it...this was just wonderful to read...floria
