First Snow Storm

I feel no inspiration, what so ever
Entering my body
My mind, heart and soul
As it should be
At the mere sight, of the year's
First winter snow storm.
What I feel instead
Is an exodus, of every emotion
Within my id escaping me
Like rats abandoning, a sinking ship.

My body aches, from aging pains
As I wish I could function
Like my days of old
But they too are gone
Just a memory left
Filed in my thoughts.

That young couple there
Laughing and giggling
Snowball fighting each other
Making angel on the ground
Hugging and kissing
Giving the scene a saintly effect

Only way you'll find me
Laying on the ground
Is because I slipped
While nobody was around
As I struggle
Like a cartoon character
To erect myself
Like in the old theater screen
Without making a scene.

I do come out
With my lovely mate
As we have our own fun
Walking from point A to point B
without falling
holding each other tight
Giggling
Like the young couples do.

Ohhh William,
What a beautiful write...

I remember those days
so well...
Still to this day,
I love making
Frosty The Snowman hehehe

When you stop playing
and having fun,
Your spirit will grow old.

If I should live to be
100, I will always be
young at heart.
"God Willing"

Excellent write...

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
