The Man At The Window

It's a dark afternoon From within a dark room I see a man Sitting at the window Looking at the steady rain falling. He silhouettes In contrast Against the outside light He is silent, just sitting there. The room is getting colder Between The burst of adjusted heat I know him But I am unable, to see his face. Yet I know he's sad Lonely within himself As any creature Could ever feel. Why don't he notice me? As I can read his senses Even in the dark I wonder to myself Would it make a difference If I could see his face. So I make my way Towards him stealthily Position myself Where I can see his face To my surprise I was the one, out of place. By: William Bonilla 12/11/03
