Dante's Inferno

Loving families
Joyfully decorated their season's
Celebrations
As others still mourn
Their unforgettable love ones
Those with disregards
To whatever courage dwelled
Within their souls, at a point of life
And meaningless destruction.

Charged into wounded monoliths
As they listened
To damned souls crying
Within the depths of darkness and fear
Praying to their gods in vain
Gods not listening that day
Were preoccupied keeping survivors
From being swallowed into a vortex
Of flames and sure death.

Monoliths crumbling into disintergation
From solid matter to powder
To sounds of no more
Eternal silence
To heavenly prayers
To tears of those witness
In disbelieve of the obvious
Occurrence of Dante's Inferno
That was no dream.

Meanwhile a self proclaimed
Prince
Of an oppressed nation
Was discovered, in his true realm
" A Rat Hole."

This one made me laugh at the end William because a big rat was found in his hole, a ventilated hole. Also one of my wifes goofy nephews is named Dante, he's a evil little bastard, he had a website called Dante's Inferno. He's a rat, sooner or later he'll end up in a hole also. Good read, G
