Poem Artwork

Osama with your mighty-might

I see you're in the news tonight

It seems the ugly likes of you

Is owed in your own barbeque

For with your dose of Porky Pig

Deep within your earthly digs

Comes more threats with every sigh

Don't you know it's you who cry

A man of seven feet tall - lanky

All decked out in a huge old hanky

I think the world is owed its due

So you're invited to the barbeque

And with that said into this night

I'd add your turbans wrapped too tight

So come on over and don't you dawdle

It'll be a blast *Bring your own damned bottle

You're invited ...from the whole damned gang

You're the guest of whatever... it's a "FREEDOM THANG!"

Clever write and visual and dynamite message - is it rocket-fuel you've got in that bottle?! We could just send him off to repopulate a planet more akin to his liking and temperament - any suggestions?! This must have been the sentiments Guy Fawkes had in mind with his Gunpowder Plot - but ironic that it is now HE who sits atop our November bonfires!! Take care you don't get burned! Kate xx

Funny, gorgeous poem. Osama - a person we despise, hate. Be it as it may, even Osama is part of the mirror which echoes our very existence, a distorted mirror which can tell something about us. franz

A bbq is nothing new,
But to do so with old Osama,
It might be good to take also his mama,
After all she did give birth,
To this madman of the Islamic faith,
She raised him fully realizing he was a jerk,
Now it is time to cook him over the fire,
His ashes will make such a good tribute,
To those that have fallen, 9/11 families will be inspired...

The humor is welcomed as is the bbq, give me directions and I will be there too, can I bring some herb to sprinkle on his remains? Peace thru BBQing, Ed & Rufuz
