This is a poem I wrote over a year ago when I was possessed by a demon. Well to make a positive from a negative I left and now you all know why!!!I grew up a little more then.
I'm frustrated with my lover
Who harbors a part I don't know
He stares straight ahead in a blank at times
When all that I do is kowtow
I planned this romantic evening
Bought lotions I knew he would like
Planned all this sensual madness
When I'm a stranger to him...for tonight
I don't understand love's absense
It makes my stomach turn flips
It's as though I'm the only one wanting to be
Devouring his kissing sips
It's ok if I take care of his needs
It's just fine that he shakes when I do
It's just that I feel left out sometimes
When he seems so selfish... it's true
I'll just go to bed with my feelings
Put them aside once again
Wait til he plans something special
Then once again he'll need a friend
A lover who takes care of business
The way he says that he likes
I wonder if loving is natural sometimes
When one of the lovers lack
To speak of my sensitive feeling tonight
To remind him I went all out
It's enough to make me turn flips right now
But I'm a LADY and I don't like to shout
So I'll say goodnight to the evening
Take my leftover senses to bed
Wonder if ever he'll want to know
If my needs ever got fed
I love him inspite of this difference
Tomorrow will take care of tonight
Then he'll return home the same man I knew
I hope..we'll maybe...
He might.
A man that wants only his needs satisfied and does not offer the same pleasure to his spouse, is the one that does not deserve the love of his wife be it from the heart or the flesh. Mutual satisfaction is the goal of love making.
I even had roses for our anniversary two years back and was thrown back into my face plus the poem that was suppose to be part of the foreplay that turned into violence!!! I promised myself never again would I be the one trying to make things alright!!
