I came here to Muse the day
With a heart still on the mend
I walked away feeling special
I found a forever friend
Someone who is much like me
With light aglow inside
A person of relevance
Dignity and pride.

Cornelius is this you?
Acts Chapter 10
Am I there too?
Is destiny forgiving
Is the crossroads here at hand
Or is this delusional
In a spirit ever grand?

Then why can’t I be
Just where you are now?
Is it trespassing
To ease a troubled frown
This friendship is history
When recalling greets our passion
Familiar is just a word
It’s definition lacking.

Friendship is forever
For spirits such as WE
No death or pain and sorrow
When we simple choose
BELIEVE!
Cornelius you are welcome
Here within my shine
For here is where you left me

Once upon a time.

I agree with Erin Belle ... your muse is different here and I like how the innocent pondering makes me feel.

You are truly growing and questioning many things. Don't be waylaid with misunderstanding things as you move forward either. There is much to gleaned in those seasons of quest.

A smile is usually born, from our time to mourn
It's breath comes from the rue, it's might comes when we choose;
that celebrating life, and counting our gain,
Is better than dwelling on what we might, lose. lovya MORE! Art

Susan

This splendid poem speaks on many levels, as you bridge the chasm of the inponderables, in a translucent and transparent manner..

Your thought process knows no bounds...which is a very good thing for a writer

I love the title, Susan, 'Cornelius' rolls off the tongue with welcome, all around.

I felt such a strong urge to Muse with you, I was lost in your words until I became 'Once upon a time'!

You've strengthened, and inspired me, Susan, with this poem. Thank you.

Cornelius only sought to keep peace, For He saw that as the greater good. What a great write about him and about so much more. Pierre.
