The power of love is a funny thing
It runs with horses while their stampede rings
The flash of devotion in eyes that are paired
The dalliance of lovers who just barely dared
It's passions that wing like a Pegasus...proud
Drifting with love on the wings of a cloud
It soars with the Woodstork and climbs with a whisper
It sticks to the walls like monks and their vespers
It chants and it purrs and rings in the night
Love gently caresses the wind and sunlight
Oceans sing volumes with love in the wash
It bleaches old wounds with a healing push
Then kisses away the scars for tomorrow
Love that appears can erase the old sorrow
Trust in this love and give it your heart
Then every new morning is a new start
Caress in the aura of love on display
Thankful or healing in loves palmed array.
Your ability to transcend all lines of prose is truly outstanding...I don't think there is anything that you could not write about...your work is so good.
Once again I feel your heart shining and glowing with an aura of love that you let flow with the words you commit to each of your poems. This is awesome and I know you mean each and every word.

AAAAaaawwwwww...So beautiful..Susan you gift us with such light, peace and HOPE!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!!
You have love down to a verbal science Susan, and I delight in the opportunity to read of the many facets of your poetic vision...always such a pleasure. There is undeniable warmth in the aura of this poem and yes, ! do believe love carries one...,shades of sunlight and the freshness of Spring green!
Trust in this love and give it your heart
Then every new morning is a new start
What a sensuous aura of love your words create. Yes indeed when we are in love it is what we wake up to. Love sustains us even in sleep. Love is in the air, as the singer sings with drive. Yet another singer cries, 'I want to know what love is.' Yet another sings, 'how can I give love when love is something I ain't never had.' The same singer paradoxically sings, 'Love is real.' Hence the aura of love does its work silently, breaking through barriers of confusion and feelings of inadequacy. This was my experiencing, and now I rest in both my family's and God's love.
Thank you for sharing this tender and evocative aura.
