I feel the very precense of your energy
I know not why you come
Especially for me
I want you to be the old love
Come back with passion's fire
Compassion in your every breath
But I know that is a lie
Sweet mystery who speaks to me
Can you repair this heart
Have you come to tempt my spirit
Bring back to it the spark
The essence it's been missing
It's passion in a void
The wonton full spontaneity
That somehow goes ignored
Can you wish me into focus
With a promise that will keep
Can you rock me into midnight
Hold me tightly while I sleep
Or sing me into heaven
Pronounce my every sigh
Never leave me lonely
And never make me cry
Mystery love of passion's call
Why do you come for me
Do you come within a miracle
Or do you come to watch me bleed?
It's hard to believe that real true love still exists, yet I know it does in the hearts of some and mine is one. This is one of my favorites of yours. Love, Pierre.
... Trouble is, with most artists it IS the very thing that they "leave out" which makes them most intriguing to the heart and mind and, should they totally "square up" to fill in the gaps, then the appeal wouldn't be the same. I admire greatly your facility with this sustained single column style, Susan. It's a wonderful vehicle for your spontaneous creativity, energy and joie de vivre. This reads clear as a woodcut or brass embossing. TY Kate xx
The spirits and things I deeply yearned for in life seem to be like air; impossible to cling to. Matters of an entirely different nature were put on the path through life. Reality and dreams seemed to further drift apart as time flowed. Logic like yearnings seemed out of reach. Today I feel the flaw is not in the way things evolve but in my perception. It has nothing to do with some twisted kind of cruelty of higher powers, but with bigger frames that harbor bigger perspectives and higher logic. I wish the agony in your expressions would disappear and make way for the larger logic that is in every way concerned with our well being in a bigger frame.
There is definately mystery here and stirred by the graphic the words you pose in questions linger on the mind to be contemplated and wondered about as really good poetry should be. I truly enjoyed this one Susan.
