I think most of you here know how I feel about passion as opposed to lust. I would prefer to have an unselfish love and you rarely find that with lust. Love has more qualities than a crystal orb full of facets. It gives us inner shine.

How Many?

The sun rays cling to long fingers
They weave a web of gold
Extended to those gracefully
To catch their love and hold
How many lovers stop on by?
How many count their blessings?
A mere few in a lifespan
Counting a crush confession
Love is not a token
It's moon swings with the stars
Its walking upon airborn kisses
Whispers from afar
It's wishes in the still of night
Goosebumps full of tingles
Its nerves that run the distance
A true heart stopped to mingle
Nor a stranger when it nears the beat
But a rhythm on the ball
The beat that hums a lifetime
When true love comes to call
Hearts are fragile havens
For some it's a warm home
For others its a meeting place
When theirs don't want to roam
For me it is a treasure
Redeeming memories
Its the place where few have dared to roam
Through this quantum century.
