Rain, passions and nightfall can make for an interesting memory even while alone.

SKR*

It's night and I'm here alone
The tinkle of the rain has come
Minutes fill with pitter pat
Tin on tin it splitter splats
Rain can get you all fired up
Can get your passions purpled up
Can make your plummage color stand
As thoughts regale and end up grand
With stormy nights when lights display
The passion play out on the bay
Crisscrossing lanes of flashing rotors
Clinging thoughts and droning motors
Alone they play within my dreams
Rain so purple with passion's sting.
