They are the lies you know about
But are afraid to tell
You change the story
To please another
Thinking it is the solution
When it only spirals
Into more
It is always better at first
But will never get better
Only more confusing
Just keep things straight
You know like an arrow
And if you have to change it
Know it’s time to move on
White lies shouldn’t have to be told
So, don’t be afraid
They won’t really hurt anyone
Only your own self
