           ~Writing~

I have to write day and night
It cleanses my soul,
helps me when I'm down low
Emotions come out;
The ones stuck inside my head
I almost crashed and burned
And had no where to turn
When I was at my lowest
I had to turn inward
And now I am not alone
A sense of peace within
I am finally feeling alive
Got it all out; cured myself
It is my self-motivated therapy
The confidence is now there
I can't believe I really did it
Writing saved my life; of course
I want to do it day and night

Writing poetry is like doing yoga.Instead of stretching your body, you are stretching your heart and soul onto the mat known as a piece of paper.Sometimes people are afraid to say how we feel in front of our loved ones mainly because of the fear of being judged.Or being fear of the reaction of others.Once we write our feelings and express ourselves,it is very liberating so to speak.Thats why all of us should be bless to have a platform to express our true feelings without being concerned about judgments

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
