Every word we float,
every poem we wrote,
every book out of mind,
will be left behind.
No one might not read,
but our word we freed.
Something will remain,
in a world insane.
Whether we meant bad or good,
it surely will be understood.
Some heard,
is better than no word.
We may not be a Stephen King,
but our word will have wing.
It will fly somewhere,
even if others don't care.
After we're gone,
our word will live on.
