The stupid part of my brain has been trying for years to lead me. At times I followed when I was real young. Almost ended up in trouble. I always looked at my 13 aunts and uncles for role models. They are strong, loving stable individuals and came through harder times than I. Anyway once I got control of my hate and disappointment, I didn't mind following me own brain.

Walking behind,
or leading in mind,
either way
a path we will find.
Down the right road,
awaits a lighter load,
Down the wrong street,
might end up dead meat.

The leader awaits,
stupidity or wisdom dictates.
The brain in the head,
a body follows its lead.
Some brains surprise,
others do disguise.

A brain could be part hate,
or a total evil mate.
A brain could be love,
blessed by God above.
Whatever brain leads route,
three strikes may equal out.

G

And it sounds like you followed their example extremely well, Grady. It's truly wonderful when we have good role models in our lives.
