I'm not a selfish person and I'm not so hard on those who are, no ones perfect. Just the way life is but some selfish people in my life have cost me dearly, especially my father who had 8 kids and never tried to do anything for us. Not one single solitary thing. Some of these people even have the nerve to go sit up in church. Seems like they never learn anything though. On to my poem.
The only face you see, is the one looking back at me. The only voice you hear, is the one coming from your mouth to your own ear. The only wisdom you acknowledge, is from your own college.
Life is for your own treasure, forget other peoples pleasure. Up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise, its glow seen only by your eyes. As the sun sets during the day, all things have been your way.
