Ever feel you don't deserve,
what came around the curve?
Hit you while young,
at old age it still exist among.

Some people can't try,
do,
then they can't defy.
My first drink,
hundreds more I almost sank.
Finally gave it up,
to keep my totality from going corrupt.
Didn't deserve,
didn't deserve,
the after math swerve

Some try hard drugs young,
get old they're still high strung.
Habit consumes totality,
until there's no more reality.
User becomes their fate,
next thing they know its hells gate.
Never tried hard stuff,
never cared too much for the puff.

Still it's hard to believe,
how some problems do decieve.
Some problems we never asked for,
they just showed up at the door.
Quite a few we inherit,
overcoming becomes our merit.
