Or body over brain. Sometimes I wonder which is really in control? The doctor told me to excercise more and eat less. My body wants to eat more and excercise less. What a dilemma!

Brain over body,
or body over brain.
Many times I wonder,
as I suffer this pain.
The brain says go,
my body screams no.

I ignore the bodies scream,
my brain and I team.
Out the door I run,
then comes the stun.
The pain really hurts,
with my heart and soul it flirts.

Doing nothing slams,
my bodies told you so jams.
Dancing to its tune,
I know I'll be back in soon.
Refusing to obey,
I continue on my way.

Everyday it's the same,
with this body and brain game.
Giving in to the pain,
there's nothing I'll gain.
Do I fall for the tricks,
or go for the fix?
Should I fall for the fix,
or go for the tricks?

The body says quit,
the brain says fight it.
The brain transmits,
the body just sits.
I'm caught up in this mix,
until I find a good fix.

You could weigh in at a paltry 150 pounds and be fit as the proverbial fiddle and the doc would still tell you to exercise more and eat less junk food...just watch those portions, that seems to be the problem in this country, all portions are like double the size they should be, and we feel we "must" eat it all! I don't blame you, I am way over weight as well...Ed
