To a very special poet I have followed and shared our poetic dilemma with. We all share this poetic environment and sometimes things happen that become topic. Jill and I shared a topic, "getting published." Quite a few of us don't become published. I've wrote about 1700 poems but I have not published a poetic book, Jill has two to her record.
Your progress I have watched, of course it I haven't matched. As a poet you have excelled, and as a friend you've never failed. A published poet you now are, up in the sky you shine like a star.
A sun shining super bright, a moon guiding others through the night. The love from your rays, surely help warm all our days. Our days are much better, with you as poetic babysitter.
Quite a few years have passed by, since you attempted to fly. Your attempt took air souring, now your poetic talent is down pouring. Your peers are caught up in the shower, of you our loving poetic flower.
Grady, I'm truly speechless. Thank you so much!!!! I don't feel deserving of such a fine tribute. I just do what I can and try to make a difference. Nothing special. It is those of you around me who support and encourage me that truly makes the difference in my life. I'm just a girl, born and raised in rural Ohio, who happens to dabble in poetry. Not a rocket scientist, not a brain surgeon, just a poet.
With that said, pardon me while I cry now and thank you, as always, for your support of my work!
