I lived to look back, in every way exact. Eactly when I was a fool, acting up in school, satisfying the devils drool. Out in my world of living, I was hardly forgiving.
Grudges I held a long time, common sense hardly did ever sublime. When I thought I was right, all day I would fight. Then later find out I was wrong, and that I should have been more strong.
Looking back over the years, I've sheded many tears, faced up too many of my fears. Back then, if death would have came swift, it probably would have been a gift. Instead I survived to live, love and forgive.
We all need to reflect back to keep ourselves in check today. It is easy to slip if we don't acknowledge where we have been and what it has taken to get to where we are now.
