I just want everyone to know it has really been fun and challenging being your friend and foe, just wanted you to know.

Poem Artwork

If I pass you on the street,
I wouldn't pass without a greet.
I'd offer a smile,
because this is my style.
If your car broke down,
I'd help you push it around.

If you were being robbed,
I'd render aid,
so the hoodlum wouldn't get paid.
If I saw you lying on the ground,
I'd make sure a doctor was found.
If I was a drinking man in the bar,
I'd have a drink where we are,
remind you to safely drive your car.

I'd do everything I could in reason,
to share our humanity,
instead of stupid insanity,
short of compromising my vanity.
OnepoetGem to another,
in short I'd treat you just like
a sister or brother.
It's no different in this den,
I consider you all my friend.

Here's a toast to all of us.

Right back at you; and if our world had far more souls like you, what a truly wondrous place it could be.
