Between the ears
lies all the fears
God and the devil
good and evil
heaven and hell
sickness and well
Depending on thought
places we're caught
maybe sold and bought
Quite a few icons
stand under suspicion
whether we do or don't give
them recognition
I recognize the creator
forget the eradicator
Love gets my recognition
it's better for my
overall health and nutrition
I feel I'm a good person
if I don't get an honorable mention
Love and peace is
my basic intention
even though at times
I suffer from retention
