Some people and things
are beyond measure
they can become icons
to truly treasure
so good that there's
no need to measure

One thing that I
particularly treasure is food
a great meal entices
my mood
Another thing is my cars
if I could I would
ride them way out to mars
visit other planets among
the stars

Some people that make
my day
is the preacher man
that help me pray
Listening to a good preacher
helps me understand better
what God has to say

Kind caring loving people
are close to my heart
in or out of the family
they help my day come to
a great start
Problem is there isn't enough
this is what makes
life so tough
seems most people are
mean hateful and rough

Can't help but to
minus from the treasure
these people who truly
aren't a pleasure
