Life beats an older man worse. Lets see, my leg healed, then my hand went out, then my hand will heal and my leg will go out again. I'm a broken man in a tough fight, the only good thing is my tough attitude.
When Adam got kicked out
of the Garden
mans life did harden
Man against life
with all its misery and strife
In the end we lose
no matter how wisely we choose
Life steps on our toes
first punch goes
right to the face and nose
Not a thing we can do but
fight back
and try to repel the attack
The harder we fight
to even the score and make
things right
the worse we get beat
but we're not suppose to
give into defeat
Right punch left jab
the fights over if we're
lying on a slab
During the times we do win
we're still living in sin
It's kicked out of the Garden
once again
sometimes even before
we begin

Damn those two forbidden fruit eating misfits anyway! For sure life is a bitch. Sometimes a bastard. On rare occasions both. I've been down in the well without a rope numerous times. It's tough crawling out, but somehow we always manage to see that light at the end of the tunnel and persevere. Only problem is, sometimes that light at the end of the tunnel is a hauling ass freight train with no breaks. Ouch!
