(Life will beat up on us all sooner or later, just learn not to help it!)

All my life I have been used like a punching bag by people and life

Seems like every corner I turned I was being beat down with strife

When I was a young man

I almost end up in the can, but I ran, did expand, certainly did demand a more positive life span

Now in my older years, I shed fewer tears because I positively handle life and my fears

I refuse to help beat my own butt

Thus keeping myself in the same old rutt

Oh, I'm still catching hell, like a voodo spell, caught in a deep well

The difference now than when I was a young man, is my more positive strong hand

Lifes problems will always be around, however the way you learn to handle them will certainly help keep you out of the pound
