One day I looked in the mirror and didn't like what I saw

This is when I knew I had better do something about the image or end up like my papa

A mean lonely old man, that should be knocked on his can

I really challenged myself, and decided to get off my foul shelf

I dared myself to be different

Succeeding in accomplishing this was really time well spent

Of course when you've been in an almost stupid place most of your life

It's kind of hard to end the stupid mean strife

I chopped away at my transformation fast as I could

Man, it was almost as hard as carving wood

But finally I started seeing some results

Especially when I got challenged in some incidents of insults

Normally the foe would have had to go

But I just maintained my posture and let the wiser mind flow and grow

This one incident I was in, I should have beat the crap out of my stupid friend

Instead I went home and cried and cried

I wasn't crying because I'm a cry baby in my tuff hide

I was crying because if I would have let the mean me handle the job, I would have probably ended up like a crook after he was caught during a rob

Because what this fool did to me, my mean side would have surely set his dam soul free

CHOICE

It is surely better to chump down than end up in jail like a foolish clown, or a hound in a pound
