Around he came Just the same He knew the game Experienced the fame Home base was getting closer He didn't want to be a loser Had to earn Loose or burn Get in Keep the winning trend A big obstacle in the way Of his home run play Alarm clock went off He sat up and cough Shook his head Then laid back down in the bed Baseball nightmare A player in dispair

Oh Grady, how I know this player well. I spent most of my youth and part of my adulthood being this player. Great to pretend, but a letdown in reality. Bill

I once heard this preacher say, "I''ll preach out of a paper bag if I have to." I feel the same about verse.

Paper Bag Poet

From the wishing well, minusing the devil''s hell.

I Wish U Well

Roses are red, thorns prick instead, depending on the head, or what is later on said.

Thorns End

The world is full of angry pissed off people everywhere, here and there, and some really don''t care. They have anger to spare.

Pissed Off People

Life is a sweet and sour affair, so take a deep breath and find some fresh air, that is if you dare or really care.

Deliver Us From Evil

We need oxygen, aka air, no matter what it needs to be there, however life at times isn't fair.
