I looked around and no one was behind me,
a search was made and no one could find me.
I was lost in desolation,
with no reprieve or consolation,
fearing total isolation.
Space barren and void,
causing my mind to trip on paranoid.
In a universe of vastness,
my surroundings were one of emptiness.
Loneliness was my mate,
existing alone seemed like my fate.
I sent out a signal of communication,
nothing returned in relation.
Finally I started my new evaluation,
figuring out a more reasonable equation,
and arriving to a wiser summation.
With this huge world of many,
opportunity a plenty,
more people than the eyes can see,
my final decision melted down to me.
Me in attitude,
Me in latitude,
Me all around in mood.
Picking myself up off the ground,
I remodeled myself all around,
Giving no choice of mind activity,
I shifted my brain into positivity.
Regardless of mistakes,
my heart and soul continued to back my remakes.
Oh what a joy to look back,
and not be the last one in the pack,
mind not smothered in the dust of the ground.
Afraid to do this,
afraid to do that,
afraid to step up to bat,
afraid to carve out a space,
where I'm not ashamed of my own face.
The old me,
I hope to never again see,
nothing personal,
just business,
my business,
Me.

Here we are, all akimbo with feet of clay, until the steely wind and ephermeral flame forges and tempers our sharp asceberic wit and whimsy.
God affirmation. Kind of like a street rap.
