You better come up with some,
or life and others will find them for you.
No one knows you,
better than you!
You're the one that knows,
why your hate grows,
You're the one that knows,
why your love flows,
You're the one that knows,
why you make all of your moves.
If you fail to understand,
others may play your hand,
deal your ace,
right in your own face,
win the game,
point you toward the blame.
I understand why I choose to love,
it's because I hate to hate,
I might kiss up a little,
just to lovingly relate.
You might smack me,
I might turn the other cheek,
but it won't be because I'm weak.
Your response might be to fight,
but mine involves strength of sight.
Vision of keeping a strong hold,
regardless of how bad an event may unfold.
In the Bible it says turn the other cheek,
which basically means not being temper weak.
God's Bible has great answers,
if you can read between the lines.
If the eye causes you to sin,
pluck it out,
Definitely not a wise route!
It makes more sense to change the vision,
the first sight of admission.
You could be thinking wrong,
reacting wrong,
blind to your vision of sin in song.
I have answers,
but don't settle for mine or others,
find your own answers my sisters and brothers.
There's nothing wrong with the Bible,
but the book is real old,
God knows you through and through,
but only you know you so true .
This is why he gave you a brain,
and disconnected you from the puppet string.
To think for yourself,
for your own health.
Choice!
