Worth a pound of cure.

Ounce of prevention never was enough for me,
I had to order more than a million eyes could see.
My troubles have been so devastating,
one ounce would have only been discriminating.
The fractions of evaluation,
just didn't fit my situation.

A Product of a disfunctional family,
nothing equaled its value in quality.
Born of an invisible father,
then when I found him,
he still didn't bother.
Nothing ever made any sense,
life was always hard and tense.

Met my wife hoping,
things still got hard as hell coping.
Her situation was worse than mine,
disfuntion of almost the same kind,
back to the drawing board in mind.
Trying to figure if this was meant to be,
all these troubles more than an eye could see.

My wife and I are fine,
but an ounce was hard to grind.
We both went digging for answers and solutions,
so we started controlling our motions.
An ounce of prevention,
would have had us both in detention.
