*************
Knew everthing,
but hardly knew nothing,
hard to admit I wanted to know something.
Every step forward,
produced five miles backward.
Ended up tripping up a lot,
burned my hands on hot.
The heat educated me,
but still it didn't teach me.
Kept going back twice,
almost ended up on ice,
handed ice skates,
still slip dictates.
Drank to much alcohol,
leaned against an invisible wall.
When sober my crutch was gone,
still I sat on the stupid throne.
Foot was to far down on the gas throttle,
passenger next to me was my wine bottle.
Basically life was phony,
riding the no legged pony.
Having fun was a fantasy,
fools gold for the eye to see.
Emotions ruled like president Bush,
better not push,
or it was war on the horizon,
any control came surprising.
Negativity had me,
positivity ran from me.
But I survived.
