Love can bloom,
hate can doom.
Relationships can start,
lives can be torn apart.
Countries can be destroyed,
the devils evil can be deployed.
A love word,
can fly like a bird.
Some hate words,
can level herds.
Grouped together in expression,
some words can cause a recession.
People can die,
planes can be shot out of the sky.
Wars can be started,
we can pray for the dead departed.
Words written and spoken,
life itself can be choking.
And while we gasp for air,
a pain in words will be there,
or
none at all for those who don't care.
Holy words of hope,
can spread faith like dope.
God's words of power,
can move the tallest tower.
Words I wrote in the den,
cause me to lose a friend.
Some words spoke in misery and strife,
deeply pissed off my loving wife.
A few words I swung at bat,
attracted the attention of our owner Mat.
I'm just about to shut my mouth,
join a flock of birds going south.
Words!
