A poem about tomorrow being a new day and leaving the past behind

Deep poetic thoughts inside these words. I used to feel this way but now I cannot relate. Yes, I certainly left my past behind. Thank God!

There is something primal about this poem. When every day brought fear of the coming night and every dawn brought new opportunity to survive.
