David Crosby's "Almost Cut My Hair"
Young in fun lovin US of A
My hair was growin
Longer and longer everyday
Yeah I all most cut my hair
No I can't really say it was in my way
Twas The Night Before Christmas
Feelin down feelin a little blue
Suddenly
I got short hair paranoia
When I saw Santa drivin a police car
All the fears of the years
Came into view
Beautiful white hair
Flowin free to the wind
Like a big Ole spinning wheel
Weaving snow white dreams all the way
So I got myself together
Realized long beautiful hair
Was really really a big deal
Now I know I gotta be ready
Yeah cause its all about the timing
Like new wheat out in the field
Tears turn to laughter
As a new morning sun came shining in
Ain't gotta run anymore
I can choose my own way
Then it happened again
I Almost Cut My Hair
It was just the other day

He was easy to spot in the crowd because of his bald top and long hair animating down his shoulders with that unique mustache, all in premature white.
We will miss David Crosby's guitar playing and beautiful voice. RIP
