Nice rythm in this poem. Fall and winter is studded with holidays and that makes it worth the ice, the snow and the darkness. The sunny side is the good times we share with our families and celebrate.
While I won't be with my family far away, I'm lucky to be able to eat hearty can keep the sunny side in mind all year long like your poem suggests. Carrying the holiday spirit with us all year.
