If you do ... is it made of stone?
Resting in a deep dark place.
That can never be found.
Did you ever have a heart?
Or were you born with none?
Maybe someone took your heart..
when you were very young.
How sad that you will never feel true love inside.
Never feel that warm feeling of pride.
Not even a true smile from your heart
for your own child.
I guess we both lose when you hide.
I know you own a piece of one heart ..
the one you took from me.
Please keep it..
you cannot hurt me anymore.
And even though I know
you still want to hurt me so..
I do not fool myself that
you someday you might care.
But I want you to know
that little piece of heart
you possess
will always love you..
Just with suspicion and fear.
