What happened to my life?
What happened to my world?
Where did I turn wrong?
Was I ever right?
The turns of fate confuse me so..
I try to find my way...
I want to do the right thing
but who am I to say.
My dreams and aspirations
seem vanquished..
But my mind won't let them go...
I have to walk this road of fate..
To cleanse my dirty soul..
Ohh God,
Help me find the tunnel of light..
I am growing weary with this fight..
What is the purpose of this life..?
If I am always blinded by the night.
God help me..
I have made fate my life..
God help us all..
If I am not right..
Perhaps life is nothing..
Just an insignificant..
fleeting flight in time..
Ohhh,
How the world would change
with anger and hate..
If there truly is no road to fate.
I refuse to believe in fate. If I did then I would never get off my ass, thinking what difference does it make, what is going to happen has already happened, it is written in some book somewhere. NO, I do what I can, when I can to make my life what I want it to be. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Life is an opportunity. Oh hell I should just make a poem out of this. Thank you Erica for this wonderful poem.
Erica, this is very powerful. Life is all about giving so we get what we give. Fate is just our imagination. We make or mar our lives. The chioce is ours.
If only we can learn to accept life as it is, life will be a lot better.

fate. Such a quibble. I wouldn't question its existential existance in so far as the human condition strives to do what it should as such. I do not believe in preordained things simply that it is definite what we shall do? A paradox yes and im too stoned to truly explain.
As far as it goes though this is a very good poem m'lady
