oh, Erica, yes...this is so confusing, so very frightening, so just hard to understand...losses for our soldiers, losses among the Innocents...oh, it is so difficult not to be torn and frightened for all and oh...this is from a frightened heart, confused as many...you, with your sensitive and good and kind soul...we must somehow find a way to understand or ..I don't know...but, you write from the core and always so well, describing what many feel in one way or another....it appears, yes, the troops, we support, they, too, the Innocent...and we, oh...just ((((Erica)))))
thank you...and for your comments, too, and I find this all so confusing as well...

Oh dear..I must say..I agree with every word Karla said..I don't want it, don't understand it, but we must stand by our dear soldiers who are fighting this battle. I pray for peace.

No war is ever good, but you are not alone in not understanding this one. Unfortunately, too many others don't want to admit the same. I know you well, and even with doubts you will pray for the men and women who must now face death, and for their families who serve this country "stand and wait". I am a mother, and a patriot, and I will do my duty as you will. But, truth be told, how many people ever understand why war is the only answer. I salute you for your honesty, and will pray with you for our soldiers and our country to heal after this is over.

I second Floria's remarks.
We elect these people to do a job, and we need to let them do it according to their consciences. These people have children too, and they do not like sending people off to die. I wonder why no one gives them the credit for doing the right thing, instead of looking at the wrong things perceived by ignorance, doubt and fear. It boggles my mind. This is what I call true stupidity.

I dont understand it either Erica...I am a flag waver and supporter of our govt but I dont think anyone should jump all over you for this terrific write with so much feeling and sorrow for our country and men fighting and the other people who will die...I am frightened by it too...I dont have the answer...I dont know who does...powerful write..Floria

Dear Erica, Excellent writing! My late Father is but a dream now. WW2 claimed him 60 years ago. It looks like there will always be children missing there Dads, and Moms too.

two sides war within me...i don't want war...but we must defend our freedoms and nation from terrorist attacks...i'm confused...i support my commander in chief in his decision...although i think he's bit off more than he (or any american) can chew...and i PRAY FOR PEACE...i'm so confused...what's right? what's wrong?? may God have mercy on us all...powerful write, erica...(((HUGS))) and i don't understand war, either...love, karla. :(
