Just.. love

I get that
feeling
that tingling..
butterflies in my stomach
feeling
I know
It could be love..
So I..
Stomp on it..
Bury it..
Don't deal with it...
Lock it in a crate..
until the feelings
dissipates..
Yet I want it..
Can taste it..
Crave it..
Am a slave to it..
But I cannot
Let
It
Out..
I must kill it..
Fill it with pain.
Never let it
gain entrance
into my heart again..
No more room ..
No vacant part..
Not an inch left
without
a scar..
So if you
think
you love me..
Please do it from afar..
My heart cannot
survive..
another bitter scar.

Wanna borrow my cowgirl boots? Just joking. Girlfriend, life has sure done a number on you. If I were a man, I'd scoop you up and smother you with gentle kisses and true kindness, but alas, we ain't each other's type. As I've told you before, I like my caffeine cold and my men hot! good write.

It nigh on impossible to believe you can trust after having been so scarred but, believe me, it is. Your writing touches the soul Erica.
