Yes She Said

yes she said
although unwed
nine months after
the bread was delivered
in a cattle shed.

three decades later
the bread they did
slay; left to decay
before passover day.

on the day of rest
the bread did rise
who eats this bread
shall be eternally fed.

Andy, the vernacular is unique to the knowledge and the facts -- the first line, first stanza do not match wth my interpretation -- a sacred event unparalleled in my Christian world -- peace and love be with you my friend -- Jon Michael

concept's great but it also kinda reminds me of Benny Hill and Adge Cutler and The Wurzels. Nice and unique, though, and I like the combination of the sacred with the lifelike-and-natural everyday: just as it should be. Check out first line last stanza! :)) xx
