The clarity of blue skies
The motion of the ocean
When she comes
Dancing dressed in white
Upon the seashore
I love her with joyous
Detachment ne’er feeling
Entrapment no illusion of
Disillusion
To love with worldly attachment,
Is not loving or living with
The ease of breeze in the
Sails of the soul a
Loving dis-ease
A fleeting pleasure of pressure
Never lasting forever or
Feeling complete a false
Love ending in defeat
The shining light of a love
Detached sings but not clings,
A thousand floating feathers free to
Be happy free from
Emotional strain unbound
From the chain of pain
Andy, your words...the phrases that you put together in this piece...so truly beautiful...and your closing two lines are like a piece of Heaven. Beautiful writing.
"a thousand floating feathers free to - be happy free from - emotional strain unbound - from the chain of pain " -- Andy Taylor you have conceptualized the European form of love in those words -- quite a piece of work my friend -- my peace and love be with you my friend -- Jon Michael
Andy, you put so many lovely word-combos in here. I love the sounds it makes. I especially love your play with "ease" and "dis-ease", and the fraternal twins "pleasure" and "pressure" side-by-side... --Charlie
