Cool, calm and poetically very collected. I very much like the measured intensity and unwordiness of this, Andy. As others have commented, few words and silence can be more deadly than a battery or tirade. What a powerful poem! It's so real ~
But silence can also be a weapon, just as the tongue ~ I don't know which is worse at times. You are a poet that gets the reader all worked up and thinking about life. And now I'm hoping, I'm just hoping this tongue thing can never be true about me.
