Life without love is hard to live

Love, I don't know where we first met
I just found you camping in my heart
You possessed my life and soul, love
You always impose and dictate
You deny me to act on my own
Love, please leave me alone
Let me be a free man
Let my heart live for me
Let me be myself once again
Let me be the man I used to be
Love, I can't live with you
Though without you,I can't live

Abdi, I'm sooo sorry! I accidentally clicked on the "Pst/Review" button, and it had left a blank review. I'm so glad I have two ID's in here so that I can still comment on you after I've missed one.

You have described "love" so well. Wonderful poem indeed!

Oh how I can relate to this darling little gem of a poem.
Yes,love can 'impose' and 'dictate' it can be the intruder 'camping in a heart' making one lose sight of the peace one once had.
How true your last two lines are,you write it all so well and exactly how it really is.
This is a fabulous poem.
Best wishes
from
kay.
