This poem is dedicated to the World Peace Day which coincides with 21 September of every year
To be born safely
A baby needs peace
To grow up happily
a child needs peace
To live with freedom
An adult needs peace
To die beautifully
everybody needs peace
To rotate in sound harmony
The earth needs peace
To accomodate us all
The world needs peace
But peace is held hostage by war
No weapon more powerful than love
can save peace today from captivity
Please send a message of hope
And war will die instantly.
Keep on spreading the word of peace, Abdi-noor! Sooner or later, someone has GOT to get the message that violence and hate is NOT the way to solve conflicts!
