Peace took the floor to make a speech on the occasion of the Peace Day at UN headquarters on 21 Sept. 2005

It is my pleasure to stand before you and make a speech but Before I start it let me tell you who I am. You may know me as PEACE but it I think you need to know how I came to take that name. This introduction is important for Mr. WAR, too, to whom I am today talking to show him my impressions about him and how I want to harmonize relations with him.

My mother is Love
My father is hope
I am a morning sun
My name is peace

WAR
You are an enemy
You are a problem
You hate stability
You are son of evil

WAR
You interfere with my duties
Where I step in to mediate
You come down to disturb
You attack me in my den

WAR
Yet I still think of you
To come together and talk
To sort out differences
Would you accept my plea?

WAR
Unfortunately Inside you
A beast is lurking around
You are preying on me
I know your intentions

WAR
If I leave you alone
You destroy the world
If I come to join you
I end up in your jaws

WAR
I have no choice
But to tame you
To domesticate you
Not with bows and arrows
Not with tanks and jet fighters
But with a word of wisdom
Dripping from the pen of Harmony

Before I conclude my speech
I appeal the International Community:

To reduce military build up
To finance education projects
As only through education
Can War’s terror factories
Be destroyed world-wide
