Is Freedom of Expression really free?
Media institutions are formed with a decree issued by the government and approved by the parliament. Or they are formed by wealthy companies who have similar interests with the government. Pressmen of the world are paid by these authorities who try to reach their political interests through the exploitation of the media. So how can we get fair reporting from journalists when they eat from the hands of interest groups? Unless we find a press free from these government authorities and business companies we can not have free access to unbiased news.
For me it is like saying:
Give me your pen I want to write ill of you
Is that logic?

I think something is baically wrong with the global Media establishment. The press which is part of Freedom of Speech should come under the KINGDOM OF FREEDOM instead of being confined to operate within a narrow space provided to them by rich men and government authorities. I would suggest that Freedom of Speech should become an independent organ or entity functioning with no less credentials than the Vatican but not setting up lines of authority becaus ethe kindgom of freedom is a kingdom without a king. No superior subjects imposing authority upon objects or demanding submission from the ruled. Every member will rule himslef and all rule themselves by themselves. That is my ideal freedom of expression and I hope my dream will one day come true.

You are so correct, Abdi-Noor. Even the "Free-Press" is locked into their own special interest groups. Freedom of Speach has nothing to do with the "freedom of the press." The way I see it is that the press has the right to say just about whatever they want and deliver is under the guise of news, causing the people to believe that it has been validated as truth. This has become a very sad state of affairs, it seems that all reporters are "on the take" from someone.

Unfortuantely there are many of these types of reporters everywhere in the world who are corrupted and are receiving bribes from parties.
