In the wake of the Islamic Courts seizure of a port town in the South of a Somalia, there is mounting tension and huge military build up in the entire Horn of Africa nations, notably Ethiopia, Kenya, Eritrea, Uganda, Sudan etc. Djibouti remains moderate about these developments though it had made clear that it is against the deployment of foreign forces in the Somali soil. The countries have wide-range disagreements over the Somalia issue and are ready to fight inside Somalia to sort out their differences by military means. This puts us in a most unfortunate situation as by the time they come to a consensus we have already perished and the motherland went into the hands of others. We are very suspicious about the games these nations are playing on us and already we smell the involvement of powerful nations who are hiding behind the curtain.

I can feel the tremors so heavily
A political explosion is imminent
Somalia is the epicenter of the quake
Many nations are dancing on the stage
Islamic Courts are the catalytic agents
Their moves are seen as recipe for war
And the world is silent or not seeing it
What a horror!
The Islamic courts are waging wars without caution. This way, they force peace-loving Somali people to go to neighboring countries for help. An example is the way they went to Kismayo without an agenda in place. They destroyed peoples' livelihoods and freedom and denied them their basic rights by killing and arresting demonstrators and by closing the local radio station. Meanwhile, they make irresponsible utterances at the wrong time. Like, the leader of the militia who took over Kismayo said that they are out to free Ethiopia's zone 5(Ogaden region) and Kenya's Northeastern province (NFD)

Dear Brothere Abdi-Noor so much to be done and it seems so little time, the nations standing ready to pounce against each other on Somalia soil are but pawns in the game and they regettably think they are more valuable pieces.
